2017-2018
Sam Behm had a great second season with the Marauders Swimming and Diving swimming butterfly and sprint freestyle events. During the Northern State & Augustana Triangular, Behm had 4
th place finishes in both the 50 fly & 50 freestyle. In the dual meet against Minnesota State University Moorhead, Sam scored points for the team with her 5
th place finish in the 100 fly. In the dual meet against Concordia College, Behm placed 3
rd in the 50 fly & 4
th in the 50 freestyle. At the Dragon/Cobber Invite, Behm had finishes of 14
th in the 50 freestyle, 16
th in the 100 freestyle, & 14
th in the 100 fly. During the Dragon Invite, Sam finished 19
th in the 50 fly helping the team to a 2
nd place finish. During the 2018 NSIC Championships, Behm competed in the freestyle & butterfly events for the Marauders and was a member of the 200 freestyle & 200 medley relays.
2016-2017
Competed in nine dual meets and at the NSIC Conference.
The Marauders with Sam Behm earned their final points of the conference championships on the opening day in the 200 yard medley relay where the Marauders quartet of Rachel Riedel, Maddi Smith,Â

Brittny Dye claimed 13th with a time of 4:28.66. The Marauders placed two relay teams in the top 12 of the 800 yard freestyle relay on the final day of the Conference where Mokhtary, Riedel, Maddi Smith andÂ

For the second straight semester, Sam Behm representing the Marauders earned the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors after posting a team grade point average of 3.50 during the 2017 spring semester. Sam contributed to the program in the freestyle and fly events.

A team captain at Red River High School in Grand Forks, N.D., Samantha Behm was named the program's hardest worker in 2015. She earned five letters at RRHS and claimed the "most improved" award in 2011. She has top times of 1:03.97 in the 100 fly, 26.05 seconds in the 50 free and posted a time of 59.66 in the 100 free. A highlight while competing for the Rough Riders was making the finals in both of her events at state her sophomore season.

A member of the National Honor Society, the leadership council, an "A" honor roll member all through high school and a volunteer at church, Sam is the daughter of Tom and Rachel Behm and plans to major in pre-physical therapy or exercise science at the University of Mary.

"Sam is a versatile swimmer and will be able to swim a variety of events for us," said Marauders head coach
Allan McCallum. "She will make an immediate impact for us in the fly and sprint events. She is a strong competitor who will bring a lot of excitement to our program."
