Bolibruch highlights Marauders day 2 efforts at SDSU Indoor Classic 60H win

BROOKINGS, SD – One day after Alexis Zeis posted the second-best effort in the nation in the 5,000 meter run, University of Mary sophomore Maria Bolibruch matched her teammate in the 60 meter hurdles to headline the final day of the SDSU Indoor Classic.

Bolibruch edged out teammate Tonie-Ann Pandohie for first in the 60 meter hurdles. The Rhode Island native cleared the barriers in 8.54 seconds, an NCAA provisional qualifying time. She matches Pandohie's effort of a week ago when the pair also finished 1-2 at the Bison Classic, only this time it was Bolibruch who placed first.

Pandohie posted her second provisional qualifying mark of the weekend  with her time of 8.64 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles. The All-American also had a provo mark in the 200 meter dash on Friday with a time of 22.05.

Melanie Rodriguez produced the other provisional qualifying mark for the Marauders on Saturday when the senior ran the 400 run in 56.94 seconds to place seventh overall.

Freshman and Wing, ND, native Kate Fox ran a 5:02.57 mile for a lifetime best and narrowly missed an NCAA DII Provisional mark, falling short by 1.46 seconds.

Freshman Bree Erickson ran a lifetime-best time of 2:16.36 seconds in the 800 meter run. Also posting a lifetime best was sophomore Kylie Pastian, who jumped 37-04.00 in the women's triple jump.

Lexi is currently ranked #1 in the women's 3,000 meters for NCAA DII as well.

Freshman Nelecia Richards ties the Mary school record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:34.12.
