FARGO, N.D. - A dominant effort in the hurdles highlighted the University of Mary's efforts at the Lyle Hokanson Classic as the Marauders swept the top three slots in the 100 and snared two of the top three places in the 400. Overall the Marauders captured two wins produced seven second-place finishes. .

The Marauders owned the 100 meter hurdles, taking the top three spots. All-American
Tonie-Ann Pandohie cleared the barriers in 14.35 seconds to take first, followed by
Molly McDonald (14.53) and
Maria Bolibruch (14.54).

In the 400 meter hurdles, U-Mary claimed the second and third best times.
Josie Guptill was timed in 1:03.49 to finish as the runner-up and
Julia Hammerschmidt was right behind in third at 1:03.77.

Kaycie Stewart earned the other first place honor for the Marauders when the sophomore from Corvallis, Montana, captured the 5,000 meter run with a time of 18:00.19.

Faith Kjelstrup placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.42 seconds. She would also earn a second place relay finish.

In addition to the hurdles, the Marauders also put together a strong pair of relay teams. In the 4x100, Pandohie, Kjelstrup, Bolibruch and McDonald placed second in 47.55. The quartet of Guptill,
Chante Spotser, Bolibruch and Hammerschmidt claimed second in the 4x400 meter relay.

In her third runner-up finish of the day, McDonald took second in the high jump. She tied for the best height of the day at 5-5 but lost on a tiebreaker.

Freshman
Kylie Pastian put up a big number in the triple jump. The Hillsboro, N.D., native covered 36-07.50 to place second.

In the 400 meter dash, Spotser claimed third with a clocking of 58.77 seconds.

Jackie Harmon posted a couple top five finishes. She was fifth in the 1,500 meter run (4:51.39) and fifth in the 3,00 meter run (10:54.94).

The Marauders return to action at the Al Cassell Relays on April 30 in Jamestown, N.D.
