MANKATO, Minn. - Dominating the final day of the 2015 NSIC / U.S. Bank Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships by winning six events, the University of Mary rolled to its sixth conference title in nine years. All-American
Kathryn Stewart spearheaded the Marauders efforts with three wins on the day.

Down ten points after the opening day, the Marauders racked up 95 points on the final day to race past runner-up Augustana 142-119. U-Mary secured the title in the final two events of the day, posting 15 points in the 5,000 meter run and setting a meet record while winning the 4x400 meter relay.

Stewart closed out her NSIC indoor career with wins in the 60 meter dash, the 200 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay. The senior from Kingston, Jamaica, blazed her way to a school-record time of 7.55 seconds to win the 60 meter dash for the first time. She then came back to capture the 200 meter dash for the third straight year, covering the distance in 24.62. Stewart ranks eight nationally in the 60 and 11
th in the 200.

In the final event of the day, Stewart combined with
Josie Guptill,
Melanie Rodriguez and
Cassandra Jones to narrowly win the 4x400 meter relay by .05 seconds. The Marauders blazed their way to an NSIC record time of 3:50.37, which is also an NCAA provisional qualifying.

Alexis Zeis earned her second win of the meet in the 5,000 meter run. An All-American in cross country last fall, the Bismarck, N.D., native recorded a provisional qualifying time of 17:07.56 to place first. She earlier won the 3,000 meter run. Both of Zeis' winning efforts were her best marks of the year. Joining Zeis on the podium and helping secure the conference title were Katelyn Engh and

Jones claimed a second win when she captured the 400 meter title. The sophomore ran a provisional qualifying time of 56.65 to take the title by .04 seconds. Rodriguez was right behind in third (57.28).

Danylle Kurywchak repeated as the NSIC champion in the triple jump. The junior from Cameron Park, Calif., set a school and conference record with an effort of 12.49 meters. She posted the Marauders lone NCAA automatic qualifying mark of the day.

Several other Marauders also had stellar performances on the day.
Brienna Lynch placed second in the 800 meter run with a provo time of 2:13.03. She missed the title by .03 seconds. Right with her in third was
Brittany Brownotter at 2:15.86.

Tonie Pandohie claimed third in the 60 meter hurdles with a provisional qualifying time of 8.78 seconds.

Crystal Hovland was fourth in the 600 meter run (1:36.69).

Brownotter placed fifth in the mile run with a time of 5:04.75.

Jones ran a time of 25.26 seconds to place fifth in the 200 meter run.

Faith Kjelstrup finished eighth in the triple jump, posting a mark of 11.13 meters.

Ranked 11
th in the nation, the Marauders previously won indoor titles in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. U-Mary missed the title last year by four points.
