Bismarck, ND – Facing what can safely be called the biggest challenge undertaken in the history of the University of Mary men's basketball program, the Marauders will take on NCAA Division I and nationally ranked Creighton University in an exhibition game on November 2. One week later, U-Mary will open the regular season at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, also an NCAA Division I team that advanced to postseason play a year ago.
Additionally, the Marauders have added an exhibition game at home on Saturday, October 27. U-Mary will host Another Level Blue Angels, a travelling group of former college basketball players. Game time is set for 7:30 PM at the McDowell Activity Center.
The Blue Jays will host the Marauders at the Century Link Center in Omaha, NE, at 7:05 PM on Friday, November 2. Creighton averaged 16,665 fans last season, the sixth best attendance figure in the nation.

th in the nation by Blue Ribbon, Creighton advanced to the third round of the NCAA championships last year. The Blue Jays defeated Alabama in their opening game before losing to North Carolina and finished the season 29-6.
Headlined by junior All-American Doug McDermott, the Blue Jays return 10 lettermen and four starters.
The Marauders face another formidable foe in the Panthers of UW-Milwaukee. The regular season opener for both teams is set for Friday, November 9, at the Klotsche Center. Tip off is scheduled for 7 PM.
The Panthers are coming off a 20-13 season and advanced to the semifinals of the Horizon League tournament, where UWM was eliminated by Butler. Milwaukee was later selected to play in the College Basketball Invitational. An experienced squad, the Panthers return three starters and eight letterwinners.
The two exhibition games and the season opener at UWM are recent additions to the schedule.
The Marauders first regular season home game is against Mayville State University on November 14. After a pair of games in Lakeland, FL, U-Mary will open its Northern Sun schedule with a home game against Minot State University on December 1.
