Jesse Bennett was named to the 2012 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Men's Division II All-Academic Track and Field Team.
A sophomore from Kalispell, MT, Bennett is one of only 164 student-athletes from 64 schools to receive this distinction. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either indoor or outdoor seasons.
Bennett is a four-time all-conference track performer this year, including three citations at the Northern Sun outdoor championships. He also earned two NSIC All-Academic honors in 2012 following both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
