Pratt Headlines Marauders on GNAC All-Conference Team

GNAC Release

Portland, Ore. – In their first season as part of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, U-Mary has three players receiving all-conference honors. Rory Pratt, a sophomore from Dublin, was the lone Marauders to be named to the All-GNAC first team. Jonathon Sellars and Michael Frenzel received honorable mention honors.

Pratt made an immediate impact in his first season playing for U-Mary. The sophomore forward led the GNAC in goals with seven and was fourth with 15 points. With 47 shots on goal (2nd in the GNAC), Pratt constantly threatened opposing defenses.

Sellars and Frenzel were named honorable mention. Sellars, a freshman midfielder, found the net twice this season. Sellars defensive efforts were instrumental in the Marauders success this year. Junior goalkeeper Michael Frenzel was fourth in the GNAC with a .755 save percentage. Kept busy all year, Frenzel was second in the league with 77 saves.

Competing in their first year as part of an athletic conference, this is the first year that any Marauders men's soccer player has received all-conference accolades.
