UPDATED: Wolf, Lide Pace Marauders Efforts at Montana State Open

MSU OPEN RESULTS

Bozeman, MT – Dakota Wolf and Melissa Agnew blazed to NCAA automatic qualifying times in the mile and Tracy Lide won the men's 55 meter dash to lead the University of Mary track and field athletes to a big night at the Montana State University Open.
 
Janet Johnson and Kristyn Nelson placed 1-2 in the 55 meter hurdles with Johnson posting a time of 8.32. Johnson's time was an NCAA provisional qualifying time. She also placed fifth in the 55 meter dash.
 
The U-Mary women finished 2-3-4 in the mile. Dakota Wolf led the pack with a school-record 4:52.95 clocking, followed by Agnew and Nocona Frame. In addition to Wolf and Agnew automatically qualifying for the NCAA championships, Frame ran a provisional qualifying time.  

The Marauders also dominated the 800 meter run, claiming all the finishers two through eight. This time Agnew led the bunch, followed by Wolf and Frame. Agnew's time was the eighth-best in the nation and both she and Wolf hit provisional qualifying marks in the event.
 
Kayla Montgomery placed third in the 200 meter dash.
 
The Marauders 4x400 meter relay team of Montgomery, Megan Jenkins, Brienna Lynch and Rikki Schmidt also placed first in a provisional qualifying time.
 
Lide outpaced all competitors in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.54. He also placed sixth in the 200 meter dash.
 
In the 400 meter dash, Jordan Washington placed third. Tim Simonich claimed third in the pole vault, clearing 15 feet.
